Two years ago I was incredibly unhappy stuck in the 9 to 5 “hamster wheel” rut, always exhausted, and constantly daydreaming about traveling but depressed that I was only given two weeks a year to do it. I lived for the weekend but was usually too drained to enjoy it and knew something had to change. And in order to REALLY change anything, it had to be drastic. The next day I quit my job, moved to another state a couple weeks later where I didn’t know a soul, had no plan whatsoever and figured out a way to make my dreams a reality.
That dream of starting a brand stuck in my head and on a whim of inspiration Stop Waiting For Friday was born. Was I ready to launch? Probably not. Was I still afraid no one would care? Hell yes. Did I know if it was going to work? Nope. But I decided to just go for it, put it out there & START. If there’s one thing I’ve learned in life it’s that no one really cares what you’re doing and people are going to judge you no matter what so you might as well do what makes you happy.
